Allen Police are still trying to figure out what led to a gunfight in a Wendy's parking lot Monday.
Police say when they got to the scene they found 27-year-old Gloria Strong armed with a rifle, shoot 24-year-old Michael Cooper, who had a gun of his own, multiple times.
Police say the two had been involved in a heated argument in the parking lot before the shooting but don't know what it was about.
Strong took off running, and when confronted by police, she was still armed, causing an Allen police officer to fire his weapon striking her.
Both Strong and Cooper were rushed to the hospital. Strong died.
Cooper remains in the ICU.
The Texas Rangers helping with the investigation and are asking anyone who witnessed the gunfight to contact them.
