DALLAS — Amazon has launched its new Amazon Now service across much of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, giving customers the option to receive thousands of items in 30 minutes or less.

The ultra-fast delivery option rolled out this week and is now widely available in DFW along with Atlanta, Philadelphia and Seattle. Shoppers can order fresh groceries, household essentials, personal care products, electronics and other daily necessities from a network of hyperlocal micro-fulfillment centers placed near where people live and work. When Amazon Now is available in a customer’s area, a “30-Minute Delivery” banner appears on the Amazon app or homepage.

Prime members pay a $3.99 delivery fee per order. Non-Prime customers pay $13.99. Orders under $15 carry an extra small-order fee of $1.99 for Prime members and $3.99 for non-Prime customers. The service operates 24 hours a day in most locations.

“Amazon Now is for when you need or want the convenience of getting your Amazon order delivered in 30 minutes or less,” said Udit Madan, Amazon’s senior vice president of Worldwide Operations. “With thousands of items available for ultra-fast delivery, you can get everything from groceries for dinner to AirPods before a flight to household essentials like laundry detergent or toothpaste delivered right to your door.”

Amazon Now complements the company’s existing same-day, one-hour and three-hour delivery options already offered in North Texas. The company plans rapid expansion to dozens more U.S. cities throughout 2026—including Austin, Houston, Phoenix, Denver and Oklahoma City—with the goal of reaching tens of millions of additional customers by year’s end.
