MESQUITE (1080 KRLD)- The big search for a missing Texas teenager came to a successful end Monday evening. 14-year-old Lexus Gray was found and is safe.
An Amber Alert was issued Monday afternoon for Lexus Gray who had last been seen on March 24th in Point, Texas.
Investigators believed she is with 40-year-old Justin Gray. He’s her non-custodial father.
Gray is now under arrest.
The sheriff’s department says he assaulted the girl’s mother and chased her with a knife before kidnapping the girl.
Justin Gray is a registered sex offender and has a parole violation warrant. He was convicted in May of 2009 of Sexual Assault of a 16-year-old girl.
The Sheriff’s office said his daughter was in extreme danger.
