Rockwall police say they are now investigating a kidnapping that prompted an Amber Alert for a six-month-year-old who went missing out of Rockwall on Monday morning. The infant was later found in Missouri with her biological parents who had lost parental rights.
Authorities issued the Amber Alert Monday for a 6-month-old girl last seen at about 4:30 a.m. in Rockwall. The child was last seen in the 300 block of Munson Street in Rockwall, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Police revealed she was taken out of a foster home she had been placed in.
Around 11:11 a.m. officials posted that the little girl and both parents were found by Missouri HP, east of Springfield Missouri. They no longer held parental rights and this was shortly classified as a kidnapping.
The child had been taken by Margaret Van Aken, 21, and Dakota Brady, 26, in connection to the Amber Alert.
Police had been looking for a gray 2007 Toyota Sienna with Texas license plate VKG9957 in connection to the alert.
