The American Kennel Club has released its rankings for the most popular dog breeds in the nation in 2021.
It's no surprise, Labrador Retrievers remain at the top spot for the 31st year in a row. But the AKC also ranked the top breed for Dallas, and for the second year in a row, it's the French Bulldog.

The French Bulldog was also recognized as the #1 pup in Chicago and Atlanta.
Other top breeds sought after here in Dallas in 2021 include the Golden Retriever, Bulldog, Labrador Retriever, and German Shepherd.
In the US the Rottweiler appears to be growing in popularity. They've gone from 10th in 2020, up to sixth this year.
The Cane Corso is climbing up the charts as well, taking the ninth spot in last year’s ranking.
