There's been another confirmed sighting of a mountain lion in North Texas, confirmed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department which says it has reviewed photographs with a time stamp of December 7th.

The pictures were taken near Princeton in Collin County, about 25 miles north of a Rowlett neighborhood where a wildlife video camera captured images of a mountain lion strolling along a country road.

Texas Parks and Wildlife officials believe it's the same animal.

While fairly common elsewhere in the state, mountain lions are rare North Texas.

The one seen last month in Rowlett was the first ever confirmed in Dallas County.
