A hearing is scheduled today in Tarrant County where a church is facing its second eviction of the year because the church advocates violence against and even execution of homosexuals.

Earlier this year Stedfast Baptist Church was evicted from its space in Hurst when a judge ruled the church's pronouncements violated its lease. The church members found a new location in Watauga but now that landlord is also trying to evict the church.

A Zoom hearing is scheduled today in a Tarrant County Justice of the Peace court. However, a church attorney tells the Star-Telegram a dismissal motion has been filed, saying an agreement with the landlord has been reached.
