Dallas (1080 KRLD)- On Saturday, the Community Vaccination Center at Fair Park accepted any eligible adults without the need for an appointment as they stepped up their efforts to make the COVID-19 vaccine accessible to all.
"There are no longer any barriers to get a vaccine and there's no reason to wait to get a vaccine," said Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, per NBCDFW.
"It's not only in your best interest for you and your family, it's the patriotic thing to do so that our country can get past COVID-19."
The Fair Park vaccination site will be open from Monday to Saturday this coming week, open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. They require that everyone under the age of 60 who wishes to receive a vaccine book an appointment in advance.
