Aquaman: Power Wave is the latest ride to open at Six Flags Over Texas, and just in time for Spring Break.
I got to take a special preview ride this morning alongside Jeff Filicko, Marketing and Communications Manager for Six Flags Over Texas.
“This is the 14th rollercoaster at Over Texas,” Filicko said before we took off. “You’re going to launch backwards first, then you’re going to launch forwards up a 150 foot tower, then you’re going to launch backwards even faster, 150 feet in the air again, before splashing down into thousands of gallons of water.”
Filicko and I were joined by a killer clown and some type of masked monster. They were there as spooky representatives for Scream Break, the park’s special nighttime Spring Break event that starts at 9 p.m. and goes to midnight every night.
Spring Break at Six Flags kicks off Saturday. That’s also the first day Aquaman: Power Wave is open to the public.
