An Arlington man and his dog are both dead from the fire that raced through their home Thursday.
Firefighters were called to a home on White Oak Lane in west Arlington. They found an elderly couple outside who said their adult son was still inside the burning home.
Firefighters rushed in and found Steven Roberts in a bedroom. He was rushed to Arlington Memorial hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His parents were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
After the fire was put out, firefighters found the family's dog dead inside the house.
