With heavy rain in the forecast, a southwest Arlington neighborhood is keeping a close eye on Misty Creek which washes away more of its banks every time the rain is bad.
The creek runs through a number of back yards near South Cooper and Green Oaks.

Neighbors have asked Arlington City Hall for help but they get a response saying, basically, maintaining that creek is the responsibility of the private home owners.
Arlington Councilman Raul Gonzalez who represents that neighborhood and says the City Council should at least look at the issue.
