ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD)- An Arlington pastor is accused of sexual assault and he has surrendered to authorities.
51-year-old Ronnie Goines is the lead pastor at the Koinonia Christian Church in Arlington. Police say a woman made an outcry about a sexual assault last month...and their investigation gathered enough evidence to get a warrant for Goines' arrest.
He surrendered at the Tarrant County Jail on Thursday and was booked on charges of sexual assault and indecent assault.
Police say he previously served on the City of Arlington’s Unity Council and is a former member of APD’s Arlington Clergy and Police Partnership program.
