The search for a new Arlington school superintendent begins Monday morning.
In January, Superintendent Marcelo Cavazos announced his intention to retire at the end of August.
Now the first step to finding a replacement is for Trustees to select a search firm. To that end, the School Board meets this morning beginning at 9 a.m.
The first thing the board will do is to go into secret session to consult with a district attorney while also interviewing superintendent search firms and then discussing the search firms' presentations. Then, according to agenda, the trustees will gavel into an open session to take a vote on selecting its preferred search firm.
