Today is President's Day and normally many, if not most, school districts would have a holiday today.
But this is not a normal year in North Texas where an ice storm shut things down in early February.
Many school districts canceled classes for four days that week and in an effort to make up some of that lost class time, some schools will be in session today no matter what the original calendar might say.
Check your school's Website to confirm whether classes are in session today.
