After a five hour court-ordered delay, an Arlington teenager's killer went to his own death late last night.

Just before midnight, Orlando Hall was executed at the federal penitentiary in Terra Haute, Indiana.

Hall was condemned for the 1994 murder of Lisa Rene who was 16-years-old the night she was kidnapped from her Arlington home and kidnapped away to Arkansas where was repeatedly sexually assaulted before being bludgeoned with a shovel and buried alive.

More than a week later, her body was unearthed from a shallow grave.

Hall was due to be executed early Thursday evening until a federal judge ordered a delay. But a few minutes before midnight, the US Supreme Court allowed the execution to proceed.
