ARLINGTON (1080 KRLDI) - If you live in Arlington and are behind on your water bill, you could be in danger of having your water shut off.
Arlington Water Utilities had temporarily stopped water service disconnections because of the pandemic. Starting today, that's no longer the case … but help is available.
The city has partnered with Mission Arlington, Arlington Urban Ministries, and Catholic Charities of Fort Worth to help those struggling to pay their bill. Moving forward, officials say they're also being more flexible with payment arrangements and aid.
If your city services account is past due, call 817-275-5931 to speak to a customer service representative and make payment arrangements. Information about payment options is also available on the City of Arlington website at ArlingtonTX.gov/water.
