Police in North Richland Hills make an arrest in a drive-by shooting that injured a little girl.
Ethan Nordyke, 18, was taken into custody on Dec. 20th.
"He's been charged by our agency with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with serious bodily injury," says Carissa Katekaru, North Richland Hills Police spokeswoman, "and it carries a $200,000 bond."
Police say Nordyke fired a shot into a home on Jerrell St. on Dec. 7th, and the bullet went through a window and grazed the neck of Angie Resendiz, 8.
"She was inside her home on the couch," says Katekaru, "and I believe she was reaching down to unplug something as this incident unfolded."
Angie was not seriously hurt and is recovering nicely.
As for the shooting, the investigation is ongoing.
"We're still looking into the potential motive or reason for the shooting," Katekaru says, "and those are answers that we hope to get as the investigation continues to unfold."
