Arrests made in road rage shooting that put Fort Worth Christian on Lockdown

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (1080 KRLD) - Fort Worth Christian is up and running again after police forced the school to go on lockdown earlier today.

Police say a road rage incident is what sparked the lockdown. Three suspects were driving near College Circle and Ross when they got into a tiff with another driver. Police say they then pulled out a gun and fired.

"The suspects did flee the area and ended up wrecking their vehicle at College Circle and Holiday Lane," says Karissa Katekaru, with North Richland Hills police. "And then they proceeded to exit and flee on foot."

To be safe, officers put nearby Fort Worth Christian on lockdown. The lockdown lifted less than 30 minutes later.

Three suspects were caught and arrested in connection with the incident. They're identified only as adult men. No word on what they're charged with, as police say the incidents leading up to the shooting are still unclear.

No injuries were reported-- and that includes the person the suspects allegedly shot at.
