Extreme winter weather Monday brought on a unique situation involving the state's power system. Power outages were experienced across Texas, including here in the DFW area. At one point, we witnessed nearly a million outages in the area.
On Monday's Ask the Expert Andrew Barlow with the Public Utility Commission joined KRLD's Kristin Diaz and David Rancken. He gave an update on the situation being handled that afternoon as well as a possible explanation as to why this happened in the first place.
