Ask the Expert: Will 'job-hopping' hurt workers' careers?

The Great Resignation is getting blamed for a lot more problems than just companies looking to put bodies at desks. CEOs of companies losing employees say that mass departure is the biggest threat to their businesses, according to the nonprofit research group The Conference Board. They also say the Great Resignation started before the COVID-19 pandemic and that it began during the last presidential administration.

The lack of workers is also contributing to the problems with the supply chain and empty store shelves.

With people jumping from company to company, it makes you wonder if they're just hurting their careers, by "job hopping." On Monday's Ask The Expert, KRLD talked with workplace expert Shannon McKain about the Great Resignation.
