Back at Augusta and feeling rested!

The world #1 is back in action at The Masters, and Scottie Scheffler is bringing some fresh perspective to the green this year.

After some quality time at home with his growing family, Scottie’s feeling refreshed and ready to take on the challenge. With a new addition to the team—baby Remy, born just two weeks ago—life looks a little different for the Scheffler's.

"I’ve got some rest the last few weeks at home, and so I feel rested and ready to go this week."

While he's always been one to keep an eye on the leaderboard, Scottie says his focus remains on the game, not the fame.

Here’s what Scottie had to say about:

  • The Name Remy: While there’s no "special" meaning behind the name, Scottie and his wife, Meredith, simply loved the "ie" or "y" ending, much like their firstborn, Bennett (aka Benny!).
  • Watching the Leaderboard: Scottie's a self-proclaimed leaderboard watcher, but he doesn't let it change his game. Knowing where he stands helps keep his curiosity at bay so he can focus on the next shot.
  • Golf vs. Life: Scottie’s keeping it all in perspective. He knows that neither a bad round nor a Green Jacket defines who he is.
