A Benbrook home is pretty much a total loss from a two-alarm fire that raced through the home on Thursday.
Firefighters from Benbrook and Fort Worth were called to the burning home on Veterans Parkway and Cook Ranch Road.
The flames and smoke were already pouring out of the roof and, once it was determined no one was trapped in the burning two-story home, commanders ordered all firefighters out to battle this one from the outside.
They worked for more than three hours but there was nothing they could do to save the home.
