Schools will be closed in the Navarro County Blooming Grove school district through the end of the week because of hail damage from Sunday evening's severe storms.
On Monday, all classes and activities at the schools were canceled and now the cancellations have been extended.
Sunday, Navarro County was pelted by golf ball size hail and the Blooming Grove district reports numerous buildings and vehicles were heavily damaged.
A statement from administrators says it will take the rest of the week for the restoration company to make our schools ready for students.
Officials say they plan on resuming classes on Monday, October 2nd.
