A car belonging to a Fort Worth woman that has been missing since the summer was found in Cooke County, and a body was found inside as well.
A group of hunters found the 2002 Lincoln Town Car late last week in a wooded area in Cooke County, according to reports.
Fort Worth police officer Daniel Segura says that car belongs to 69-year-old Carolyn Riggins, who disappeared on July 11th after winning a bingo jackpot in Watauga.
A body was found inside the car, but there has been no positive identification according to the the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office, who is handling the remains.
"We will wait until the ME's office completes their investigation," the Fort Worth Police department said in an email, according to NBCDFW.com. "Our Missing Person Unit has been involved during all the process and new findings."
