The new Air Force One jets used by the President of the United States are a year behind schedule, and Boeing is blaming a Fort Worth company for the delays.
Boeing has filed a lawsuit in Tarrant County District Court against GDC Technics.
Reports say Boeing had hired the Fort Worth company as a subcontractor to design and build the interiors of two new Boeing 747s that would transport the President around the world.
The lawsuit claims that GDC has missed several deadlines and delivery dates. As a result, Boeing says it is now a year behind schedule.
"GDC's failures have resulted in millions of dollars in damages to Boeing and threaten to jeopardize work that is of crucial importance to the USAF and the President of the United States," Boeing said in the lawsuit.
Boeing says in the lawsuit that it had to cancel its contracts with GDC as a result and is demanding financial compensation and the return of its equipment needed to continue the project.
So far, there has been no response from GDC.
