An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy earlier this year, the Dallas Police Department announced Monday.

Mysiah Clark, 18, was taken into custody on July 14 by the U.S. Marshals Task Force, police said.

The shooting occurred around 1:50 a.m. on April 19 at a gas station on East Overton Road near Interstate 45. Officers arrived to find a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound, according to police.

The teen, whose name has not been released because of his age, was transported to a hospital, where he later died.

Clark has been charged with murder and is being held in the Dallas County jail.
