A viral video is showing a frightening moment at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo over the weekend.

The crowd was enjoying a view of the famous team of Budweiser Clydesdales going through their paces when things went wrong.

Towing a wagon, the team of eight one-ton horses was brought to a halt when, for reasons unknown, the lead pair doubled back on the rest of the team and walked right into the midst of the six horses trailing them and getting hopelessly entangled in the traces connecting all four pairs.

In the confusion, as a half-dozen wranglers raced out to help, one of the big horses tripped and toppled over right under the feet of his seven friends. The big fella lay flat on his side while the wranglers unhitched the rest of the team, leading them away as the downed horse was cared for.

All of the horse's equipment was off-loaded and then the wranglers helped him to his feet as the crowd exploded in applause. He was led out of the arena under his own power.

Reports from the Stock Show are that the downed horse was back in action the next day.
