The stars at night may be big and bright in certain parts of Texas, but in DFW it’s building lights that brighten up the night skies. While many different colors shine on buildings throughout the metroplex, on Wednesday one color will be taking over. In support of Red Cross’ Giving Day, multiple buildings throughout DFW will change their colors to red.

Throughout the year, many different colors may be seen on buildings in North Texas. The colors may change due to a holiday, to show love to a local sports team, or in support of a movement.

The latest color change will be in support of the Red Cross and their annual charity drive that helps families who have been impacted by natural disasters and other life-changing situations. The drive will take place today, with red lights taking over the building later this evening.
