The mother of a murdered Fort Worth Paschal High School student says she has forgiven the teenager who fired the fatal shots outside a Whataburger across the street from campus on Friday.
Monday night, a candlelight vigil was held at University United Methodist Church across the street from the restaurant where Zechariah Trevino worked.
Erica Trevino spoke directly to the three suspects who remain locked up, saying "I'm going to pray for you and I forgive you with everything I have in me."
Trevino's cousin who is a 17 year old girl, also a Paschal student, was critically wounded and remains in the hospital.
Police say two 17 year old boys identified as Daniel Reed and Isaiah Nunez are jailed on murder charges along with a 16-year-old boy who cannot be identified because of his age.
