GARLAND (1080 KRLD)- One person is under arrest after leading police on a chase in several North Texas cities this afternoon.
It started in Garland, where police received a call about a domestic situation. When officers got to the home, the man inside drove off, then returned. Police tried to pull him over, but he gave chase, and drove into Mesquite along I-30.
When officers threw out spikes near 30 and 635, the suspect stopped and 30 Westbound was shut down while police tried to take him into custody. Police say the suspect drove off and headed for a gas station near 30 and Hyde Park.
That's where police took him into custody. Garland police say the car the suspect was driving had been stolen from the home.
