Dallas police have found the car they've been looking for since a Friday night hit-and-run that put one person in the hospital.

Reports say the unidentified victim was crossing Great Trinity Forest Way just west of I-45 and was hit by a Ford Taurus heading west. That victim was transported to the hospitla and is listed in serious condition.

Detectives had the license plate number and it turned out the Taurus had a stolen plate which was registered to a Mercury Mountaineer SUV.

Working through the weekend, police have now found the Taurus. But they don't know who was driving it so they're hoping for tips leading them to the guilty person.
