One suspect is dead and four people are injured, including two police officers, after a high-speed chase in Northwest Dallas early Friday morning, police say.
The pursuit followed an armed carjacking around 1:40 a.m. in the 9800 block of Dale Crest Drive, Dallas police said. It ended with a collision between a squad car and the suspect vehicle in the 3100 block of W. Northwest Highway.
Three suspects and two police officers were taken to the hospital. One of the suspects died from their injuries. The two police officers were released.
Police said the names of the suspects would not be released due their ages.
