Reaction continues to pour in from lawmakers who worked closely over the decades with Senator Lindsey Graham.
Outgoing Senator John Cornyn, who entered the Senate at the same time as Graham, says all Senators have lost a friend.
"Like millions around the world, my thoughts are with Senator Graham’s family today," Cornyn said on his 'X' account. "He was a fierce advocate for our nation’s military and our federal judiciary."
Cornyn added that Graham was one of the funniest people he'd ever met.
Graham unexpectedly died after returning over the weekend from a trip to Ukraine.
