Could we be in for another surge of COVID-19?
Several people have been warning of a potential fourth wave of COVID-19 infections.
However, Dr. Mujeeb Basit, the associate director of UT Southwestern's clinical informatics center, says the medical center is only expecting a slight increase in the number of cases this month.
Dr. Basit urged everyone to get vaccinated to get the pandemic behind us. And he says those who had previously been infected with COVID should also get the vaccine.
Vaccines are now in abundant supply, so it shouldn't be too long of a wait to get one.
