The Dallas Cowboys come up short again, losing 34-17 to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in their final home game of the season at AT&T Stadium.
The loss drops Dallas to 6-8-1, extending a difficult stretch that has kept the team out of playoff contention and frustrated a home crowd hoping for a strong finish. Los Angeles controlled the pace for much of the afternoon, building and maintaining a lead as the Cowboys struggled to keep up on both sides of the ball.
Sunday’s game marked the Cowboys’ last appearance in Arlington this season, closing out a home schedule that included several narrow losses and inconsistent performances. With only road games remaining, Dallas now turns its focus to finishing the season and evaluating areas that need improvement heading into the offseason.
The Chargers improved their postseason position with the win, while the Cowboys continue searching for momentum in the final weeks of a season that has fallen short of expectations.
