The Dallas Baptist University baseball team is moving forward in its march toward the College World Series.
Concluding the Fort Worth Regional at TCU yesterday, Dallas Baptist played Oregon State in a winner-take-all game at Lupton Stadium.
Spotting the Beavers a five-run lead, the Patriots clawed their way back with eight runs in the 6th, 7th and 8th innings to win 8-to-5.
Now, DBU has to wait for the winner of the Columbia Regional final.
Last night's Virginia-Old Dominion match-up was postponed because of rain. They'll play the game today and the winner will meet DBU in the Super Regional.
The NCAA has not announced the site of that series but is expected to do so today.
