
The Dallas-based Greyhound transportation service has been sold to a European company.

Announced yesterday, the deal will see Greyhound taken over by a company called FlixMobility, a German company that runs Europe's biggest long-distance bus network.
In 2007, the British company FirstGroup paid $3.6 billion for Greyhound. Now, 14 years later they're selling to FlixMobility for cash considerations totaling $172 million.
Industry analysts believe the sale will have little effect on Greyhound's US operations.
