Dallas-based retailer Neiman Marcus is saying goodbye to fur

DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A Dallas based retailer is finally ready to say goodbye to fur.

Fur has never been less fashionable, according to fashion industry experts and Neiman Marcus now says its future is furless.

Neiman's says it will stop selling all fur products by early 2023, and that goes for its Bergdorf Goodman stores as well.

For years PETA has been pressing Neiman's to stop selling furs. The company says the change is coming now as part of its broader sustainability efforts.

The store is trying to get rid of its existing inventory and has slashed prices on furs by as much as 65 percent.

Neiman's is now just the latest retailer to ban fur....following Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom.
