Today is the last day that the City of Dallas will take applications for its Rent Relief Program. The program was launched to help people struggling to make rent or mortgage payments because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Families earning 50 percent or less of the area median income receive priority for the program, along with those who have been unemployed for more than 90 days and those facing eviction.
Although the period for new applications is coming to an end, applications that have already been submitted will be processed.
