The Dallas County Medical Examiner has identified a body found in a rural area of Mesquite last month.
Dallas County officials say the body found in Mesquite is that of 24-year-old Jennifer Mendez Olascoaga.
Reports say Mendez Olascoaga, a former Dallas Schools employee, had been missing since September 27th. She was last seen at a gas station in Seagoville.
Mesquite Police Lieutenant Brandon Ricketts tells KRLD News the investigation has been on hold until they could confirm Olascoaga's identity.
Police had found Olascoaga's car near the area where the body was found. Her wallet and phone were missing.
Ricketts says they do not have a suspect yet and that the investigation is still ongoing.
