DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Dallas County judge Clay Jenkins says hospitals are packed and staff is stretched thin as the county deals with the spike in cases.
Today the county reported Dallas over 2,200 new cases of COVID 19 and ten more deaths.
The county judge says as we move into Christmas week, we must stay vigilant.
Jenkins says the good news is that the county will get more doses of the vaccine for front line health care workers and says when it becomes more widely available, it will be done fairly.
The state is on track to provide more than 1 million vaccinations to Texans by the end of the month.
