Dallas County criminal and civil courts are resuming in-person jury trials after the halt of a more than a year because of the Coronavirus.
Getting ready for face-to-face trials, the county has laid out nearly $100,000 to fix up the courtrooms with things like plexiglass and other items needed to keep everyone safe.
That's on top of the nearly $800,000 more that was spent during the pandemic for technology for things like video cables and hardware to allow virtual communication.
