The Dallas Cowboys absolutely crushed the New York Giants bringing in 40 points to the Giants zero. The electric first game of the season has fans across the metro relishing in the win and eager to see where the season will lead.
"Defense looks great, Dan Quinn has them going," said One fan in Fort Worth. "All 11 guys running to the ball, flying to the ball. It's really exciting to be a Cowboys fan right now."
Another longtime Cowboys fan said he didn't expect the win but is excited nonetheless.
"No I wasn't expecting that but being a Cowboys fan for over 30 years so," said Another fan in Fort Worth. "It was good."
The Cowboys are set to take on the New York Jets at their home opening this upcoming Sunday and fans don't think the win against the giants was a fluke in any way making them confident as the season progresses.
"I think we've got a lot of hope this season, I think we can go all the way," said one Dallas Cowboys fan. "It's really exciting to see how they're playing, how they've got them playing and executing on all three levels of the field. We'll see what happens."
