Even though the Cowboys do not break camp in Oxnard, Carlifornia until next week, the team is back in North Texas for Saturday's first pre-season game.
Dallas meets Jacksonville at AT&T Stadium in Arlington with kick-off scheduled at 4 p.m.
The game gives us our first look at the Cowboys new offense with Mike McCarthy calling plays for the first time since 2018, his final season with the Packers. However, it's already been announced Dak will not suit up.
Prescott has not played in the pre-season since 2019 and McCarthy says he's "leaning toward" holding him out until opening night against the Giants on September 10th.
Tomorrow, Tony Pollard is likely to get some touches even though he missed a couple of practices this week to be present for the birth of his baby daughter.
With the departure of Zeke Elliott, this will be Pollard's first season as the number one running back.
Following the game, the team flies back to Oxnard for practices on Monday and Tuesday. Then, after breaking camp, they'll fly to Seattle for the August 19th pre-season match with the Seahawks.
Then they return to Frisco for the remainder of training camp.
