A man is behind bars in Dallas, charged in the death of his wife whose bullet-riddled body was found under a bridge this week.
Kyaira Williams, 25, was reported missing Monday.
"This was upgraded to a CLEAR Alert," says Sr. Corporal Brian Martinez. "What this new alert does is assist us in locating and rescuing missing adults who have been either kidnapped, abducted, or who we believe are in immediate danger."
The alert was called off Wednesday, when police discovered Williams' body near Southbound Julius Schepps Freeway.
"She was found under a bridge with multiple gunshot wounds," Martinez says.
Williams' husband, 26-year-old Brannon Williams, has been charged with her murder. He was arrested yesterday and is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
Police haven't said much about what led them to name Brannon Williams as a suspect. No word on motive, either.
