A man who has been wanted for a murder that is loosely tied to the Amber Guyger case is now in the Dallas County jail after spending 4 years on the run.
Dallas Police say 26-year-old Thaddeous Green was one of three men wanted for the 2019 murder of a man named Joshua Brown.
Mr. Brown was a witnesss in the murder trial of former Dallas Cop Amber Guyger. He testified at the trial, but clearly didn't want to be there.
The testimony helped convict then Dallas Police officer Guyger, who went to the wrong apartment by mistake and shot Botham Jean.
A couple weeks after his trial testimony, Brown was found murdered. Dallas Police went to great lengths to say Brown was not killed because of his testimony in Guyger's case.
The suspects in the case including Green, and two other men identified as Jaquerius Mitchell and Michael Mitchell, were all indicted for Brown's murder.
Michael Mitchell pleaded guilty and is serving a 40-year prison term. Jaquerius Mitchell's case is still awaiting trial.
