Still struggling to come back from the Covid era, the Dallas Museum of Art is announcing a cutback in staff and operating hours.
On Tuesday, the Museum announced it will now be open just five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It was also announced that 20 full-time positions are being eliminated, which works out to about eight percent of the staff.
In a statement, DMA cites rising costs, expiration of government funds, and audiences not yet returning to pre-pandemic levels for the changes.
