A 12-year-old girl was shot and wounded outside a Stemmons Freeway hotel.
Police say the shooting may have been the result of an ongoing feud. When officers arrived at the InTown Suites near I-35 and West Mockingbird on Friday they found the 12-year-old with a gunshot wound to the stomach. As of the last report she was in stable condition.
The girl's mother told police she'd gotten into an argument with another woman when she and her daughter turned to enter the hotel. The woman in the car, a red Dodge Challenger, then fired, hitting the child before speeding off.
