Dallas police are still trying to determine if evidence in more than one hundred murder cases was accidentally deleted.
The Dallas County District Attorney's office says the 113 reviewed cases were those with upcoming trials, and the office did not specify how many were found to have deleted or missing evidence.
This comes after months of issues with large amounts of data and the issues they were having storing the evidence.
Dallas police went a little further in their comments saying that of the 113 cases reviewed, 572 video files were deleted out of 8,889 total files. But both police and the DA's office says the evidence lost was either insignificant or could be supplemented by other records.
But many defense attorneys who are representing those charged, say police can't say whether lost information could impact a case’s outcome.
