Dallas police Chief Eddie Garcia fired three officers over three separate incidents, the department announced Wednesday.

According to reports, the three officers -- Sr. Cpl. William McLennan, Ofc. Donnel Brown and Ofc. Juan Lopez -- were fired for different reasons.
Dallas police said McLennan was fired in connection with his September arrest on a DWI charge in Lewisville. He had been with the department since 2005.
Brown, who joined Dallas police in 2019, was terminated because of an accusation of theft of under $100 in Plano.
Lopez was fired for escalating a disturbance. He was placed on administrative leave on July 13 when he was charged with family violence assault in Arlington. He had been with the department since 2015.
All three officers can appeal the termination.
